We are excited to be collaborating with Collective Member Kim Balasbrumaniam to bring you this Pinterest Workshop with Canva tutorial, hosted in Chichester. Open to all members but only ten spaces are available so be quick!
A lot of us have used Pinterest in our personal lives. Maybe to save images of hairstyles we’d like to recreate, to search for inspiration for home improvements or to find the perfect Thai green curry recipe, but not so many realise that it’s an incredibly powerful tool for businesses and one that is hugely undervalued. Pinterest currently has over 300 million users, and to date, these users have saved in excess of 200 billion pins – that’s pretty mind-blowing!
Whether you have a product or service-based business there are ways to use Pinterest to generate interest, point people directly to your website and turn them into loyal customers.
Pinterest is not another social media platform; it works as a search engine and if your products and services are found by the right people it can prove an extremely valuable referral source for your business.
By the end of this workshop you will be able to:
– Create graphics specifically for Pinterest (using Canva)
– Understand how to use keywords and descriptions to help your images get found within Pinterest.
– Point your customers from Pinterest to your website to generate sales.
– Curate your Pinterest account with pins from other websites to appeal to your ideal customers.
I will also share lots of tips that both myself and clients of mine have successfully used to get their pins found fast.
There will be a workbook to take home with step by step instructions so don’t worry if you don’t remember everything on the day.
Before the Pinterest workshop, you will need to set up a Pinterest account (ideally a business account) and bring your laptop with you so we can go through it together.
